C. W. Tucker and His Wife

C. W. Tucker and His Wife at Their Home and Photographic Studio in Randsburg in 1897.

C. W. Tucker, Randsburg Cal. studio stamp on verso. The house, which was preceded by a tent, was located on Butte Avenue. In the vicinity of the large tin building known as "Charlie's Ore House". The attached darkroom/studio in the back is still in its tent stage. This part of town was spared by all four of the large fires that destroyed large parts of Randsburg between 1898 and 1929. The building no longer exists, so it is assumed that it was moved, possibly to Atolia in 1916.
