Desert Wildlife - Food Chains

Desert Food Webs

The interconnected feeding relationships in an ecosystem. These relationships can be complex; some organisms may feed on more than one trophic level, or changes may occur depending on a species' life history stages or the availability of food. If we are familiar with how energy moves through the system and the individual chains within the ecosystem, it is easier to visualize and understand how the ecosystem functions as a network or web.
