Bear Valley - Adventure Tours

The Lake Adventure

Big Bear by Boat

Treasure Island - 2000

The land sure looks different from the middle of the lake. Somehow you feel smaller and more connected to your surroundings. Explore this wonderful wet world by canoe, kayak, jet ski, pontoon boat, rowboat, or motorboat. Launch your boat from the public boat launches (East Boat Launch, West Boat Ramp), rent a boat from one of the private marinas, or take one of the commercial boat tours. Visit sporting goods shops to learn about the best fishing spots.

Season: Summer, spring, and fall

Audience: Families, active adults, large groups

Degree of Difficulty: Easy

Duration: Variable

Points of Interest: Dam Keeper's House; Treasure Island (see the historic pagoda-shaped cabin, but don't land); City of Big Bear Lake (land at Big Bear Marina and walk to shopping and food)
