Crowbar Cafe

The restaurant was originally called the Red Buggy Cafe and was built in the late 1930s. Renamed the Crowbar in 1947 and the adjoining bar was added in the 1950's. Well known for exquisite iron art work, Jill "Lady Buffalo" Thacker, was commisioned to weld the names of local mines onto a railroad rail for a footrest at the base of the bar.
