Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail

An easy hike with an unusual pay-off -- the biggest Lodgepole pine tree in the world! Along the self-guided nature trail, you will discover interesting features of this mature mixed conifer forest and luscious wet mountain meadow. It's a fantastic place to glimpse many types of woodpeckers, including Williamson's Sapsuckers and white-headed woodpeckers, as well as migratory songbirds. This easy trail connects to the challenging Siberia Creek Trail.
