Chloride Murals

Along a dirt road about a mile and a half east of Chloride, Arizona, vibrantly colored murals decorate the walls of a desert canyon. In 1966, Roy Purcell, a prospector with more time and talent than luck at prospecting, painted these unconventional murals on the boulders.
