Pima Point

One of the few places where it is possible to hear the Colorado River from the rim of Grand Canyon, if it's relatively quiet and wind conditions are just right.

Be as quiet as possible, and you just might hear the faint roar of Granite Rapid far below, a sound which just barely hints at the power of a river more than 3 miles (4.8 km) away.
