Hermit's Rest

Hermit Road ends here, and this is last westbound shuttle stop on the Hermit Road (Red) Route. At Hermits Rest, shuttle buses turn around and begin their return trip back to Grand Canyon Village.
Hermits Rest provides the only water bottle filling station along Hermit Road. There are also restrooms, a snack bar, gift shop and beautiful canyon views, on this western end of the Canyon Rim Trail
From Hermits Rest, the Hermit Trailhead, is a 0.25 mile (0.4 km) walk on a dirt road.
