The Ancestral Mojave River

Upper Watershed

Snow collects on the higher elevations of the watershed. When melted, water will either seep into the groundwater system, or if melting faster than can be absorbed, may become surface runoff collecting in Deep Creek to the east, or one of the tributary creeks along the west fork of the Mojave River.
