Old Motel

Built in the 1930s during the rise of roadside travel, this old motel stood as a quiet outpost for weary desert travelers. For over 50 years, it offered a cool room and a place to rest in the heart of Shoshone. Though its doors closed in the mid-1980s, the building remains—a reminder of a time when Highway 127 was the lifeline through the desert.
