Game Trails

Game trail within the juniper As you walk through the park, look for the many rabbit trails, some have been established for hundreds of years. The most common animal you might see on your walk is the black-tailed jackrabbit and sometimes a cottontail rabbit. Other creatures in the park are wood rats, antelope ground squirrel, coyotes, ravens, kangaroo rats, rattlesnakes and mourning doves.
